About Space Survival

by Arun, Joseph and Trevor

The object of this game is to get to the planet with your space ship and then to earth before your opponent(s). As you travel there will be spaces on the board that say SONIC BOOM! or Black hole. Fighting cards are cards that you use to battle an opponent. Helping cards move you forward or your opponent back. Curse cards help you do something evil to your opponent.Question cards are for asking your opponent a question of their choice (air or adv.)

Rules for Space Survival

BAM! You are trying to find how hot the sun really is but as you are going something blasts you off into space. If you don't in get to the spot with your ship and get back to Earth in twenty minutes your air runs out and you have to go back three planets. (Caution! The squares which lead from the Space ship planet to the Earth will be the hardest squares to pass on the board!)

There will be one hundred twenty-six cards and ten question cards. If there are four players each person take twenty-five normal cards and leave twenty-six in a deck. If there are three players take thirty-three cards each and leave twenty-seven in a deck. If there are two players each person takes forty cards and leave forty-six in a deck.

Fighting Cards

During the game there be spaces that will say COMBAT! You take three fighting cards and battle your opponent. Each alien has a number(s) on the bottom if you roll the number(s) that is on the fighting card you destroy that card. Or you might have to sacrifice a certain amount of cards to destroy your opponent. If you defeat your opponent, advance two spaces. Note: You will know that they are fighting cards because they will be bordered in red.

Helping Cards

Helping cards are cards that have a constellation or a comet on them. (Remember that these are still normal cards.) All you have to do is read the card and it will tell you what to do. On these cards you have an option to move yourself forward or move one of your opponent(s) backwards.

Curse Cards

If you show one of your opponents a curse card such as a crater card, they have to do what the card says. If they are not on a crater space they just have to pretend that they are on one. Two Notes: One: there are more than just crater cards, but also asteroid cards and black holes. Note Two: These are still normal cards.

Question Cards

These are not normal cards, these are question cards. If your opponent (s) lands on a space that has a question mark on it take a question card and they will say,"Air" if they need more air. Or they will say advance if they want to go forward four spaces. There will be questions for air and advance. It will say it on the card.

The first person to reach Earth is the winner. Good luck on your voyage!
