Definition
Under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Construction Facilities Planner Technician provides support to project managers for Measure L Facilities improvement projects including coordination with site administration to minimize disruption to the school sites and contractors and to ensure compliance with contract requirement. This position also requires the ability to organize and maintain all contract documentation with close attention to schedules and deadlines.
Education and Experience

3 positions – 5.7 hrs/day (District Office, BASES Program) Behavior Analysis, Social and Educational Services (BASES) provides behavior intervention services for children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delays in the public school setting.  We are looking for positive and energetic individuals who have a passion for helping children ages 4-14 in school situations.  You will be going to schools to implement education programs based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in collaboration with a student’s special education teacher and other related service providers and supervised by the District Autism Program Specialist /BCBA.  Interventions will focus on teaching students needed behavioral, communication, self –help, social, academic, and play skills.  This is a great opportunity for graduates and undergraduates in Special Education, Psychology, and those who are interested in learning more about Applied Behavior Analysis.

THEATER MANAGER (BAYSIDE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER)

1 position – 4 hrs/day, hours to be based on theater bookings

Definition

  • Direct general operation of the Theater through coordination with the instructional programs.
  • Monitor and coordinate the use of the Theater facility among and between instructional, community, and commercial events while maintain the primacy of instructional use.
  • Coordinate all front-of-the-house aspects of event production.
  • Coordinate the financial aspects of event production; preparing operating budgets, and overseeing related financial operations.
  • Responsible for recruitment and training of the front-of-the house staff.
  • Maintain and increase community awareness, developing promotional campaigns for series and individual events.
  • Work with advisory committee and assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing plans.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in the fine arts, performing arts, or related technical field.
Extensive relevant experience in addition to that required above may be substituted for a maximum of two years (60 units) of the education requirement.  Each two years of additional experience may substitute for each one year (30 units of college).
Master’s degree desirable.
