Where children discover new skills,
     Acquire new knowledge,
            Gain new confidence,
                  Form new friendships,
                       And become curious learners.

Helping Hands preschool program provides a blended classroom for general education and special education students.  The classroom follows general education preschool curriculum focusing on Kindergarten readiness, language, and motor skills with supports provided to students with special needs so that they can participate alongside their typically developing peers.

Helping Hands peers benefit from:

  • Limited Class size of 16 and higher teacher-student ratios
  • (1 teacher and 2 assistants in the classroom)
  • Enriched opportunities for play and learning such as access to specialized materials and activities designed by early childhood speech/language and motor development specialists.
  • Typically developing peers not only grow in academic, language and motor abilities, but also increase their confidence, empathy and ability to cooperate and work with others.
