All students in the District are assigned to a school based on their home address, however, actual enrollment is based on space availability at the school site.  In order to determine which school your child will attend in the San Mateo-Foster City School District, open the School Finder Lookup Tool, input your street number and select the street name and city from the pulldown menu.

Note: The School Finder lookup tool provides a preliminary neighborhood school assignment based on the address provided.  However, actual enrollment is based on space availability at the school site.  This search only covers addresses within the District's boundary.

Although every household in the District is assigned to a school, parents in the San Mateo-Foster City School District have many choices for their children. Parents can choose to send their child to their assigned school, apply to transfer to another school within the District, or apply to one of our Magnet programs/schools.
