New Student Registration
Registration in the San Mateo-Foster City School District for the 2012-2013 school year has begun. Parents registering new students or wishing to transfer their student to another school within the district should familiarize themselves with this process.
New Student Registration
To register your child in the San Mateo-Foster City School District, you will need to register in person at your school of assignment. All students in the District are assigned to a school based on their home address. Parents may use the School Finder to determine their school of assignment or contact the District Office at (650) 312-7700.
Intradistrict Transfers
Parents may request an intradistrict transfer to another school in the San Mateo-Foster City School District, which is not their assigned school. Applications are due by Friday, February 3 to any school office or the District Office. Enrollment priority for transfers is established by lottery. Requisitos para la Matricula
Para matricular a su hijo/a necesitará matricularlo/a en persona en su escuela de asignación. Para determinar su escuela de asignación, use nuestra Herramienta para Buscar la Escuela, o llame a Servicios del Estudiante al (650) 312-7345.
Usted necesitará los siguientes documentos para matricular a su niño(a) en su escuela de asignación:
- Paquete de Bienvenida al Distrito Escolar de San Mateo y Foster City
- Formulario de Matrícula
- Certificado de Nacimiento o Pasaporte (niños que deseen matricular en Kindergarten deberán de tener cinco años de edad para o antes del 1 de noviembre, 2012)
- Identificación del Padre / Madre (licencia de conducir o identificación con foto)
- Informe del Examen de Salud para el Ingreso a la Escuela (recomendado para el kindergarten, pero no es requerido hasta el 1er grado)
- Encuesta del Idioma del Hogar
- Encuesta Informal del Primer Idioma
- Dos Recibos Recientes de Utilidades (PG&E, agua, teléfono, cable, basura). Si se ha mudado recientemente y no tiene los recibos de utilidades en su nombre todavía, el contracto de renta o el cierre de la compra de la casa serán aceptados. Si usted vive en un sitio en donde su nombre no aparece en los documentos de propiedad, recibos de utilidades o el contrato de renta, la persona con quien vive tendrá que presentar los dos recibos recientes de utilidades, una Declaración Jurada de Domicilio y una identificación con foto en persona.
